Young Voices Be Heard & The Alzheimer's Poetry Project Arizona Assignment

We deliver compelling outreach programs to rural communities all over Arizona. With Young Voices Be Heard (YVBH)we help students become more self-confident with powerful spoken word assemblies and workshops. And we enhance the lives of those who suffer from Alzheimer's, and related dementia, with the Alzheimer's Poetry Project Arizona Assignment (APPAA) by performing classic poems they memorized when they were younger. This incredible tool empowers everyone it touches especially caregivers, nurses and family members.

We're currently in the process of crafting a website to support you. If you're a poet or just take an interest in poetry. Maybe you attend a poetry reading here and there or you thrive on a great poetry slam, either way, we're here to help bring poetry to our communities' youth and elders and we could certainly use your assistance.

You're welcome to check in with us on our Facebook Fanpage for YVBH and APPAA where we update our events and progress on a minute by minute basis.

Thanks and check out our major upcoming event happening at the Coconino Center for the Arts in Flagstaff AZ!
